Based in Killarney, Co. Kerry, I am a historian, author, educator, and speaker dedicated to bringing the vibrant, complex stories of Irish history to life.
My journey with Ireland’s past isn’t just academic—it’s hands-on. I’ve had the privilege of working within the walls of some of the nation’s most iconic historic sites, from the powerful cells of Kilmainham Gaol and the grand halls of Kilkenny Castle to the political heart of the country at The Houses of the Oireachtas.
With a Research Master’s in History and a Master’s in Education, I bridge the gap between deep academic research and engaging storytelling. Whether I’m exploring the intricate dynamics of modern church-state relations or uncovering the rich, hidden local histories of my home county of Kerry, my goal is always the same: to make our shared history accessible, fascinating, and relevant today.
